Lagu Andra & the Backbone "Sempurna" dijadiin theme song untuk iklan Pond's terbaru.
Despite of the advertisement which came out smoothly with this song, i still hate it.

The beauty of this song is that you should love someone as they are (Sempurna = Apa Adanya). Yet since it is used as Pond's newest marketing theme song, the original meaning of the song shifted into "Sempurna = Putih".

Sebagai orang yang bisa dibilang anti obat pemutih (with their extreme campaigns), rasanya sedih aja kalau lagu "Sempurna" yang notabene resource untuk para perempuan merasa dihargai dan dicintai sebagaimana dirinya masing dieksploitasi untuk memenuhi kantong-kantong perusahaan kosmetik.
